Evidence-Based Therapy for People-Pleasing, Relationship Anxiety, and Burnout

If you find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling anxious in your relationships, you’re not alone. Many individuals struggle with relationship anxiety, difficulty setting boundaries, anxious attachment patterns, perfectionism, and chronic stress. Therapy can help you understand the root of these patterns and begin creating healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

At Mindfully Me Mental Health Counseling, we use trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy combined with a holistic mind-body approach. Emotional stress doesn’t just affect your thoughts — it also impacts your nervous system, energy levels, and overall well-being. In therapy, we work together to strengthen boundaries, improve communication, build self-worth, and reduce anxiety, helping you develop healthier, more secure relationships.

Our goal isn’t just short-term relief from anxiety or burnout. We focus on long-term emotional growth, nervous system regulation, and building the confidence and clarity needed to feel grounded and aligned in your relationships, career, and daily life.

Danielle, LMHC-D: Therapist for People-Pleasing, Relationship Anxiety & Burnout

Serving NY, NJ, FL Residents

Hi, I’m Danielle, a licensed therapist serving residents of New York, New Jersey, and Florida. I specialize in supporting young adults who feel overwhelmed in relationships, struggle with anxiety or self-doubt, and are navigating major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are in their 20s and 30s managing dating, career pressures, family expectations, and the constant feeling that they need to have everything figured out. It’s common for my clients to feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or putting others’ needs ahead of their own, leaving them emotionally drained and unsure how to advocate for themselves.

As a first-generation American and eldest daughter, I understand the weight of responsibility, cultural expectations, and perfectionism. I know how easy it can be to prioritize achievement while pushing your own emotional needs aside. In our work together, I help you slow down, better understand the roots of self-doubt and relationship patterns, and develop a stronger sense of identity, confidence, and direction.

My approach integrates evidence-based therapy with trauma-informed methods, including EMDR and Brainspotting. These approaches help clients process past experiences, reduce emotional reactivity, and shift long-standing beliefs that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we focus on strengthening boundaries, improving communication, regulating the nervous system, and building healthier, more secure relationships. Clients often tell me they gain meaningful insight through our work while also experiencing real and lasting relief.

My training includes Brainspotting Phase 1 and Phase 2, advanced PTSD case conceptualization, trauma-focused treatment approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, and LGBTQ+ competency training. I am also continuing to expand my trauma work through upcoming EMDR training.

I specialize in supporting clients with concerns related to anxiety, self-esteem, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned in your relationships, career, and daily life.

Outside of the therapy space, I’m an animal and nature lover. I have a chocolate lab puppy named Mousse and love staying active, especially through long outdoor walks (preferably at Disney World!). I also enjoy watching reality TV — Vanderpump Rules, Real Housewives, and Jersey Shore reruns are favorites — and I can rewatch the Harry Potter movie series an infinite number of times. My favorite food is a classic summer cheeseburger straight off the grill.

If you’re ready to feel more grounded, self-assured, and aligned in your relationships and daily life, I’d love to connect. You can schedule a free consultation and take the first step toward healing and growth.
